I have an upcoming visit to Russia due to a travel package that I got to the country to fly a Mikoyan Mig-29 aircraft, and I am so delighted that I was able to afford it together with my friends. We leave in three weeks and I guess I still have enough time to go shopping for some stuff that I might need to have when we get there. Coat is not a problem since I already have some of those and I am also planning to buy new ones in there. My plan is to get one of those thermal clothing that I have heard about because they really got my attention. It works by keeping your skin comfortable, even if you are in extreme weather, hot or cold. The material absorbs a minimum of body moisture, dries very quickly and regulates body moisture efficiently, thus keeping you warm. It’s the breathable quality in the material that helps keep heat in. I found a web site that sells this kind of product and I thought they are also noble because they support the heart research in UK. It was said that if I buy T-shirts from them, then the proceeds will go to the research to help mankind. I guess it would be nice to buy thermal shirts from them to help myself and their cause

Flame resistant clothing is not just about fashion or even comfort. Flame resistant work gear, shirts, pants, and jackets, can help you avoid serious burns and even life-threatening injuries if you work in an environment where open flame and high heat are potential hazards. DRIFIRE flame resistant clothing work to keep your skin away from flame and high heat so that you can avoid injury. Our line of clothes also controls moisture, so that you can stay comfortable on the job.

Many types of flame resistant clothing are made from natural fibers – such as cotton – that has been specially treated to be flame resistant. We believe that there are potential problems with this type of flame resistant clothing. First, the flame resistance can wear off with repeated washings and workers may not be aware of this problem when they head into work. Secondly, the chemicals used to treat fabric to make it flame resistant can melt, drip, or fuse into the skin in the event of a fire or high heat. Finally, we’re not entirely comfortable wearing clothing that is essentially a cocktail of many chemicals. Additionally, fabric that has been treated with chemicals to be flame resistant can be stiff or difficult to shape into attractive and comfortable clothes.

At DRIFIRE, we wanted to find an alternative solution. That’s why we looked for fabric that was essentially flame resistant and didn’t need to be treated to make it resistant to flames and high heat. As it happens, we didn’t have to reinvent the wheel. We found Modacrylic, a fiber that is not only flame resistant but also flame retardant coveralls. The fiber has been in use for decades and has been proven safe. We have used this fiber in our DRIFIRE flame resistant apparel to offer the best quality of flame resistance. Thanks to the fact that 85% or more of the fibers in our flame resistant apparel is made from Modacrylic, our flame resistant clothing is able to offer superior performance. Our clothes do not melt, drip or fuse to the skin, the way treated natural fibers can. There is no after flame that can cause damage after the flame or high heat is gone.

However, just because flame resistant clothing is not about fashion, that does not mean that you have to sacrifice style or comfort for safety. DRIFIRE flame resistant clothing is designed to be simple and comfortable to wear. Our clothes offer you protection but don’t look like a spacesuit and don’t feel like a heavy burden on your shoulders. We believe that flame resistant apparel has to be worn to be effective and we believe more workers will wear required safety gear if it is comfortable and practical. Of course, with our unique woven-in flame resistance, our fabric is lighter because it does not have to be coated with products to make it flame resistant. This makes it easier for us to create lightweight clothes that are flame resistant but look like regular work clothes.
