Weddings are always good sources of fashion trends, as people, especially the women, that attend such gatherings would want to be part of the celebration’s elegance. Who wouldn’t want to be a trend setter in such events? Though it is a crime to look more beautiful than the bride when attending weddings, there are always some ways to make sure that your look would be above all others, like what printable wedding invitations do to all other types of invitations out there. The usual trend in weddings is to wear a dress for women and black tie attire for men, but due to the prices of such clothing, some think of other ways to look good, as well as formal, when attending a wedding ceremony and reception. For men, it’s either they rent coats or just go without a coat as long as their appearance is formal, while for the ladies, they tend to wear slacks that matches their beautiful top.

My roommate seems preoccupied nowadays .Who wouldn’t be, she’s planning for her dream wedding next year. Even I, myself is excited about it. Though we have work in the afternoon we still have time to talk about her dream wedding in the morning, in our lunch and of course the girl’s talk at night. We have done a major step, which is church reservation. It has to be a year in advance due to some reason that couples want to have their weddings solemnized in that church, I’m hands down to it. The church is really magnificent. From the church, we were referred to some of their trusted wedding planners so off we went. Wow, I never imagined how complicated things are, every single details counts. We have to go for a lot of packages given; lucky to her budget she has a good source of fund for the said even. She was given a list to select what kind of services she would like to have during her wedding. In the list there’s about Portland photobooth services and without a question she said yes to it. She was really excited about these Portland photo booth rentals because she likes taking pictures herself. Finally she agreed to rent a photobooth to make the occasion more memorable.

I just got aboard the wedding industry and I must say, even at this early stage of my career that I would have to raise the bar higher than everyone else so I could survive it. I guess I don’t have the proper tools yet and experiences will come in a bit later but at this point, if I don’t make a buzz, I’m not sure if I could get in to that time were experiences are already flowing in. I have already done some event planning in the past but I think I need to get maybe a crash wedding planning course anytime soon so I could get caught up with the latest trends that they have in here, especially with regards to choosing the perfect wedding gown for the brides. I strongly believe that anyone couldn’t call themselves a bridal consultanti without knowing the ins and outs of the wedding fashion industry because the bridal gown is one of the best highlights of every wedding ceremony. I also need to work on the venues because even though I have experienced hosting events in some venues, I don’t have enough knowledge yet of the best ones to hold a wedding ceremony and reception. I should start researching for these things as soon as I can.

I am really excited for what I’m about to do… Later this week, I’m going to propose to my girlfriend and I am pretty much sure she’ll say yes since we’ve been together for a very long time now and we have been talking about some famous wedding destinations that we could go to for our honeymoon once we get married. I already took the liberty of looking for some good spots to go to, and I think she will love my suggestions. First off is the Sandals Grande Antigua Resort in the Caribbean, which according to surveys, have been voted the most romantic resort in the last ten years. It has white sands with crystal clear waters and stately palms frame quaint cottages. Another is the St Lucia Sandals, still in the Caribbean, which was built in a traditional British Colonial style and was awarded the prestigious Five Star Diamond Award. Third one on the top list is the Sandals Jamaica Grande Ocho Rios Beach & Villa Resort, which is nestled between the lush St. Ann Mountains and the Caribbean Sea. Lastly is the Fiji’s South Pacific Honeymoon & Wedding Resorts where Tom Hanks’ “The Castaway” was filmed. All I have to do now is to plan how to pop the question so we can choose a location already, and maybe try to find out which attire should I have… Will I go for my normal look of jeans and shirt to catch her off guard, a tuxedo to make her feel the importance of this day, or do I wear something radical like a chicken suit?

My cousin has just got married to her long time boyfriend and we were there to see it. it was a really great wedding ceremony and they were able to keep the ceremony beautifully intact from start to finish. The reception was also wonderful because the food was great and the setup of the whole restaurant was phenomenal. I was with my girlfriend that time and she was asking me about my dream wedding. I told her, if things would be going my way, I want it to have a tropical theme. I could either choose Hawaii or the Caribbean, and I want it to be a beach wedding, complete with the sands and palm trees. I want everyone to be wearing summer clothes, while we wear something tropical fancy. My girlfriend then stopped me a little and she said she would still want to wear a wedding gown. I replied it would be fine since I have plan B… We all wear tux and gowns, but also make sure that the guests would bring their swim clothes because I want the reception to be on the beach until night comes. Then, after everyone leaves the place, I would want to stay in the beach with her for a little while and tell her how much I love her.
