There’s no such word to describe me as a vintage lover. I simply adore everything that time and craft has surpassed. It may be a little influence of my parents who also have the love for something antique, classic, unique and exquisite beauty. It all started with the car, some appliance and stuff and everything else fell into personal collection of vintage style jewelry. The time when you step into college and meet more people, expand your horizon to new possibilities and more freedom t o choose what you want. I was in college when I learned how to dress more properly. It was also the time when I learned how to become more fashionable because I felt like there are less clothing inhibitions now and it’s also the time I became independent and live far from my parents to pursue college. After graduation and when I started working, things changed a little bit. This is the time when I learned to value money more because I have to support all my finances now. Being in a corporate word is tough and definitely, time flies fast. I didn’t even know that I’ve been working for seven years now. I’m satisfied, happy and engaged. Sooner or later I’ll be walking down the aisle then exchanging vow with my husband. I guess this is my next challenge. Wedding is really expensive and choosing from wedding gowns are quite not simple. There are so many things to work, from invitations, to the clothes of the entourage, the weeding favors, receptions etc. Our personal savings are also at stake but it doesn’t really matter. For all I know, the moment just happen once.

This year it WILL be different, I promised myself last year and I hid the photos so that no one could see! The attempt I made trying to get the look of a zombie was pathetic! Especially in the presence of all those other excellent Halloween outfits.

I even went online to get tips on how to do the fake skin and bone stuff. It looked so easy on the YouTube video but I just about managed to get the face paint on and it looked rubbish! The clothing I tried to use some charity shop finds which were cheap enough to destroy but just didn’t look ‘right’.
Anyway, I ran out of time and had to go with what I had. I left the house looking scary – but not for the right reasons!! If I had had any sense I would have phoned my mates and told them I was sick.

As I got out of the taxi at Sarah’s house I realised that almost everyone else had bought some or all of their costume and either added to it or just put it on and that was that. The range of zombie costumes at the party was far out – could have been a scene from Michael Jackson’s thriller video.

The vampiresses and vampires costumes were sexy and the guy in the ninja fancy dress costume was odd but cool – he obviously knew some martial arts moves watching him dance!

So as I say this year will be different – I have started to look online and research what I want to be this year. I have saved a little money for the ‘right’ costume and with a little more research and a few more beers with the guys I am going out with, we will come up with a better look and we are going to look fine and cool on the night.

One of the most common past time of American people is watching talk shows. But the main reason I really watched her show was the fact that my friend liked her so much. We loved to see her and see what’s new with her hair, clothes and accessories. I, on the other hand, love her hairstyle. Her hair stylist, hands down, is really versatile. It was also in her show that I learned a great deal about bulk human hair. One way to remember high school is the last dance before graduation. Juniors and seniors usually join this major event to mark the end of their high school life and the start of a new more exciting yet complicated college life. Well, it’s inevitable but then we should not forget that they are the youth, they may sometimes misbehave, its part of growing up. I guess it just have to do with the parent’s concern. Students are even luckier nowadays because finding the perfect outfit is just a piece of cake. There are a lot reasons why I really like Halloween; next to Christmas of course. I still remember my salad days wherein my mom would buy me Halloween costume for such event. I loved being a fairy, wearing magical and colorful wings made me feel great. Well, I can say that those were my most unforgettable childhood memories. Now, I still join some costume parties but then I don’t find the guts to be wear fairy costumes anymore. It’s my nieces and nephews turn to wear costumes now. My sister, who’s so busy with her job, always needs my assistance on which child costumes her kids would wear. Here comes the aunt to the rescue, I even volunteered myself to buy costumes for I love these adorable kids. Besides, there are a lot of online child costumes to choose from. My niece, a six year old brat and the apple of my eye would look fabulous in a fairy outfit and my eight year old nephew would look just perfect in his favorite Spider man costume. Well, if I can’t do them anymore at least I would still be very happy to see these kids have fun in their own ways.

I’m not just talking about an ordinary bad hair day which almost every woman avoids, the chic hairstyle and or a unique hairstyle but the proper hygiene as well. There was a time when I was reading The Biggest Beauty Blunders of all time in Yahoo, talking about celebrity fashion gaffe in pictures. Well, the headline about Britney Spears shaving her head didn’t give me a surprise at all because we quite knew her reputation as an artist but to see Julia Roberts on the red carpet wearing a sleeveless glimmering red gown with her underarms unshaved was a total gross. I’m not sure if she has a fashion stylist or her schedule was too hectic that she forgot to shave for the big event. It’s really unpleasing to see any lady showing confidently their underarms unshaved. How come some of them forget to shave and at the same time not wear tops with long sleeves?
